Moritsugu’s epic memoir, smeared across Honolulu, New England, Paris, New York, Berlin, Seattle, California, and the austere Southwest, spans four decades and the giddy highs and muddy lows of this uncompromising film director’s life. Ostensibly about “what not to do” to succeed in the movie biz, this lurid recollection is also a story about his love affair with Amy Davis, his brilliant muse, wife of 24 years, and partner in crime. 300+ pages and filled with hundreds of previously unreleased color photos, illustrations, letters, documents, and the ephemera of a life lived on the edge.
