FALL 2026
BOOK RELEASE: “SKULLFUCK: THE BRUTALIST CINEMA OF JON MORITSUGU”
An epic memoir smeared across Honolulu, New England, Paris, New York, Berlin, Seattle, California, and the austere Southwest, Skullfuck spans four decades and the giddy highs and muddy lows of this uncompromising film director’s life. Ostensibly about “what not to do” to succeed in the movie biz, this lurid recollection is also a revealing and intimate tableau of Moritsugu’s love and life with Amy Davis, who was his brilliant muse and partner in creative debauchery. 300+ pages filled with the REAL story of what destroyed their fairy tale romance, hundreds of previously unreleased color photos, illustrations galore, letters, documents, and the ephemera of a life lived on the edge.
